Each time I sit down to write a post here, I remind myself not to talk about the weather, because I feel like I talk about it all the time on this blog! But then I realized…the weather dictates a lot about fashion and our daily outfit choices. Whether we choose a down coat or a lightweight one, booties or an open-toed sandal, scarves, hats or even sunglasses are all things that we base on what mother nature has planned for us that day. Here on the East Coast, there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t check the weather since I learned my lesson some time ago that clear skies and the shining sun can be deceiving, and dressing for their lies can leave you bitterly cold.
Dressing for the transition from Winter to Spring can leave you in a confusing state of “honestly what the heck do I wear today?!” but this coat is here to save you from all of your fashion worries. It’s a medium weight that can be worn with lots of layers underneath or just one, and it’s a colorful departure from your dark-hued winter wear.
Tomorrow is both my birthday and a beautiful 66-degree day, so you can bet I’ll be wearing this coat out to do some shopping and dining with friends. See you next time!
