Dressing for the chilly Fall weather is like a whole new world to me. I know it might sound strange, but I’m not sure I ever even wore a pair of boots until I started college in Southern California, and didn’t slip on a coat until I studied abroad in London (ski trips aside!). I remember so desperately wanting to own a pair of over-the-knee boots while I was living back in Hawaii, but they were just so impractical because of the heat and I’m almost positive people would’ve stared at me like I was a crazy person. So now, as soon as the weather dips below 70, it’s almost guaranteed you can find me in these. I also doused them in suede protector to make sure they were waterproof for drizzly days too.
It’s currently my Fall break and while I had all these dreams of taking a weekend trip and going to a pumpkin patch upstate, I’m writing to you from the comfort of my bed since I don’t feel well at all. I honestly don’t know why I make plans so far in advance — good times and bad, life always has its own plan, doesn’t it? Hope you’re all having a wonderful long weekend!
