In the last three weeks I’ve been from NYC to Honolulu to NYC to SF and back to NYC, so I’m breathing a huge sigh of relief to be in one place for a while. More on my SF trip in a later post! New York is slowly but surely starting to feel like home to me, and this nice 60-degree weather is certainly helping. While there’s an endless amount to discover here, I have my routine, favorite brunch, lunch and happy hour spots, and I’m finally able to (mostly) get around without Google Maps. Sometimes I think I’m getting a little too comfortable though because the other day I was on my way to class and automatically walked to the NQR station instead of the FM station and got on the wrong train. It was like I was sleepwalking! I didn’t even realize it until three stops later, so I blame it on a mix of jet lag and lack of sleep. With the warm weather this week, I decided to throw on this skirt with my favorite leather jacket and boots. I love that the polka dots add playfulness to the whole outfit, yet the grey and black color scheme keeps it sophisticated and cool. Maje honestly has some of the cutest skirts around and they have lots on sale right now, so I’ve linked more of my favorites at the end of the post.
