Happy New Year everyone! Here’s a quick snapshot of my 2014 in photos. From taking a eurotrip with Holden for my birthday in March to winning the Miss Hawaii USA pageant followed by a celebratory Vegas trip afterward and meeting my little baby nephew for the first time in November, it’s going to be a seriously tough year to top. I’m looking forward to an eventful 2015 including my upcoming trip to Tokyo next week, competing at Miss USA this summer, and lots more. I also know I’m in for a few challenges, including losing the holiday weight I’ve gained over the last couple of weeks. That brings me to my New Year’s resolutions for 2015:
Stay active: More than just losing the holiday weight, I want to stay healthy this year with at least 3-4 workouts a week. Also part of this resolution will be drinking more water. So important, and yet I somehow have trouble downing 8 cups a day. The struggle is real!
Visit a new country: Traveling is one of my favorite things to do, and I think it’s so important to experience as much culture as you can. So I put this on my list of resolutions, even though I don’t know exactly where I want to go. I’ve always wanted to visit Australia, fingers crossed.
Give someone a compliment every day: It’s always such a sweet surprise when a stranger or even a friend pays me a compliment. So this year, I want to pay someone a compliment every day, and hopefully make a few people smile in the process.
