Last night, Holden, my sister Liza, her friend Leo and I went to the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival’s annual event at The Modern Honolulu called Chopstix & Cocktails. Basically it’s an event where you mosey around and try a dish from each celebrity chef, mixologist or sommelier who serves you something out-of-this-world delicious. My favorite dish was the shrimp tempura and spicy green soba from Iron Chef Morimoto! I honestly left and felt like I gained five pounds but if I did it was worth it. Even though I live in Hawaii, I don’t eat raw fish so I’m not sure I hold my weight at these kinds of events, but I am a hopeless desert addict so I think I make up for it there. On Saturday we’re going to another Food & Wine event too so I’ll be sure to diary my food adventures there as well. Have a great weekend!
