About a week ago, I spent my birthday weekend in San Francisco with my sister Marisa and her family (including my cute little nephew Halex) and it was so nice to see them after about six months apart. On my actual birthday, I spent the day with my high school friend Zoe and we shopped ((Even though we have shopping on every corner here in New York, somehow I still managed to find some birthday treats for myself!), chatted, and ate lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Back when I was growing up in Hawaii, we didn’t have a Cheesecake Factory on the island and my birthday was always during Spring Break, so I thought it was literally the most amazing restaurant ever. We kept going every year and it just kind of became a tradition. I’ve missed a few years here and there, but we thought it would only be fitting to go back.
You might have noticed my new Shore Projects rose gold watch I’m wearing in this post. It’s so stunning, I’ve been wearing it on repeat for weeks. My favorite part about this watch is that it can be customized by swapping straps (it only takes a few seconds) and they have a seemingly endless selection of colors, styles and patterns so you will never get bored. Did I mention they’re also waterproof to 100m? I rarely go swimming or anything like that, but I am way too clumsy and forgetful to own any watch that isn’t waterproof.
Lastly, for all of you that live in Hawaii, they’re in stock at the new Nordstrom store at Ala Moana Center so you can go try them out. Let me know which style is your favorite in the comments!
